Position Overview
The Event and Administrative Intern will play a critical role in supporting the planning and execution of GodKulture’s robust calendar of weekly Bible study virtuals, live streams, and in-person events. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for community building.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Coordination: Assist in scheduling, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics for virtual Bible study sessions and in-person events like the Purpose Tour Kickoff and Friendship Friday.
- Administrative Support: Manage attendee registrations, send reminders, and organize event follow-ups such as thank-you emails and feedback collection.
- Virtual Support: Monitor and facilitate online events via Zoom or other platforms, ensuring smooth execution of virtual experiences.
- Content Support: Collaborate with the team to prepare slides, outlines, and promotional materials for each weekly session (e.g., “Hello, Faith,” “Hello, Fire”).
- Community Engagement: Actively communicate with attendees via email or social platforms to ensure a high level of participation and satisfaction.
- Data Management: Maintain records of attendance, participant feedback, and event outcomes for reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with virtual platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Canva (or similar design tools).
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in event planning, faith-based initiatives, and community building.
- Flexible and adaptable, with availability to attend occasional in-person events.
Internship Duration
- 3–4 months (aligned with the event calendar).
Compensation
- 10 hours weekly, $15/Hr
