Gaise Baba’s ‘No Turning Back II’ Tops 2025 YouTube Chart As Nigeria’s Most Streamed Music Video

YouTube recently released its 2025 Nigeria rankings and has named “No Turning Back II” by the star Gospel singer Akinade “Gaise Baba” Ibuoye, featuring Lawrence Oyor, as Nigeria’s most-watched music video of 2025.

According to Premium Times, the Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa, Addy Awofisayo, sent a signed statement that revealed that actress and scriptwriter Omoni Oboli and gospel singer Gaise Baba were top creators of the year.

Gaise Baba’s No Turning Back II Tops YouTube’s 2025 Chart

No Turning Back II was released on May 16 and soon became a major sound, amassing 41 million views within six months of its release. It has also recorded 397,000 likes and over 22,000 comments.
