Pentatonix Singers Want People To Feel Jesus Through Their Music
If you love Christmas music, then you must have heard about the Grammy award-winning music group Pentatonix. The a cappella group may not be labeled as Christian, but they sure have moved the world with their renditions of several famous Christian Christmas hymns.
Recently, two members of the crew spoke about their faith in Jesus Christ. According to Church Leaders, the two vocalists mentioned how much they want people to feel Jesus through their music.
Pentatonix Members Speaking About Their Love for Jesus Christ
The new movie, “Journey to Bethlehem,” premiered this week, and two Pentatonix members spent some time speaking to The Christian Post. Matt Sallee and Kevin Olusola spoke about how they planned to share Jesus through their music.

Kevin spoke about Daniel, the Old Testament hero of faith, saying, “he goes into the culture, and he gets to infiltrate, but he also gets to stay true to the one true God.” He added that by being a light, they and other musicians could show people the joy and beauty that comes with the Gospel.
Since first hitting the scenes in 2011, Pentatonix has sold over 10 million albums globally. The group is currently on tour and is preparing for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of the illustrious lineup.
Kevin further mentioned in the interview that through the broad reach of their music, they have helped people feel Jesus. He said, “The lyrics, the hope, the message, the spirituality that’s in the songs, it resonates and hits the heart in a way that sometimes another medium can’t.”
While Kevin has been with Pentatonix since its inception, Sallee only joined in 2017. He also spoke about being a shining light in a dark culture as a representative of God on earth. Sallee said, “It’s all about trusting the Holy Spirit…and yourself just to know that God’s called you in your purpose,” Sallee said. “We talk about this all the time. Walk in your purpose, walk in what God has called you to do…lean on iron sharpening iron, lean on brothers and sisters, and really trust in God because his record is perfect. He’s been so good in my life.”
