Lauren Daigle is a two-time winner of the prestigious Grammy Awards. She has blessed us with several anointed songs over the years. However, she made a new indelible mark this Christmas through her benevolence.

Lauren gave away about $681,000 to different music charities over the holidays. These charities share something in common, serving underserved communities by providing a platform for young adults and children to perform.

According to Daigle, “I’m truly moved and inspired by the passion and commitment that I’ve seen from every single person involved with all of these organizations — not to mention the tireless and seemingly endless work done by their volunteers. The thousands whose lives they touch each and every day, not only provides light and hope for so many in need, it sets an example for all of us to follow and shows us what we do mean to each other.”

The gospel artist presented her gift to different charities based in New Orleans. Some of these charities include Roots of Music, KidSmart, Young Audiences of Louisiana, NOCCA, and Ellis Marsalis Center.

She established her foundation, The Price Fund, in 2019 from donations gotten from merchandise, ticket, and music sales. Between then and now, she has raised over $2.2 million that has been given to thirty-seven non-profits globally.
