Hello, Holy Spirit Devotional Week 19 – Hello, Strength
Paul’s prayer here speaks clearly to what and where all of our strength comes from; it is through the Holy Spirit. We are capable, through faith, to endure much, but when it comes to the Spirit of God, that allows us to break through to glory.
Christ dwells in His people in the form of the Holy Spirit and is always present with us. Just like the apostle seeks, through prayer, spiritual strength for the work and duty to which followers are called to perform. To be strengthened with might is to be mightily strengthened, much more than the strength needed to believe.
The Holy Spirit can and will give us the supernatural ability to withstand the harshness of this world. Helping us to push forward in faith unto truth and ultimately Christ’s resurrection. To God be the glory for the Holy Spirit and the strength He gives to us, the believer.

PERSONAL REFLECTION QUESTIONS
When I feel overwhelmed, do I rely on my own strength, or do I invite the Holy Spirit to guide and renew me?
How can I become more aware of the presence of the Wonderful Counselor in my daily life, especially during challenging moments?
TAKE ACTION:
Pray for Empowerment: Set aside time daily to pray, asking God to fill you with His glorious, unlimited strength through the Holy Spirit. Use Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:16 as your guide: “Lord, empower me with inner strength through Your Spirit to fulfill the calling You have placed on my life.”
Act in Faith: Identify one area in your life where you feel weak or discouraged, and take a step forward in faith, trusting in the Holy Spirit’s strength. For example, engage in a difficult conversation, serve someone in need, or persevere in a task where you’ve felt limited.
Be encouraged that our strength comes from the Wonderful Counselor Who dwells in us. Thank You, Jesus for providing for us the ability to be strengthened through Your Spirit.
