Hello, Holy Spirit Devotional Week 27 – Hello, Favor

God’s favor is rooted in love and truth, reaching those who align their hearts with His will. Throughout Scripture, God’s favor appears time and again—not in material things or fleeting recognition, but in the steady, unchanging love He has for His children. In Matthew 3:17, God declares over Jesus, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Here, favor is not favoritism; it’s a reflection of God’s pleasure in Jesus’ obedience and love. His favor doesn’t exclude others but invites us all to draw near.

Hello Holy Spirit

Favoritism, on the other hand, can distort relationships and wound hearts. It’s a display of partiality, favoring some over others based on external traits rather than inner character. Yet, God’s favor is never unfair or unjust; it reaches all who seek to walk in alignment with His purposes.

When we say Hello Favor, we’re saying yes to God’s presence, yes to His pleasure in us—not because of what we’ve done, but because of who we are in Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the Spirit who reminds us that we are God’s beloved children (Romans 8:16), who helps us live in a way that brings joy to the Father’s heart, and who empowers us to walk daily in the fullness of His favor.
