David, aka ‘Coach D’ and Pastor David is a dynamic fitness professional, self-defense specialist, and motivational speaker. Creator of Power 4 Wellness & Power Punch & Pivot, David’s mission is to Encourage, Equip and Empower participants for greater faith, fitness & family vitality.
David utilizes a functional athletic combat training (FACTS) system to maximize movement, focus, and powerful progress. With a BA in economics, David is also a certified personal trainer and Movement Training Systems specialist, with additional certifications in Social Emotional Learning, and nutrition. Outside of professional service, David enjoys family time with his wife and daughters, faith ministry, reading kickboxing, and jazz.
Power Punch & Pivot: “Hit, Don’t Get Hit!”
Description: HIIT style, bodyweight, cardio-boxing punch combinations and footwork intervals.
Benefits: Through HIIT punching and footwork intervals, participants will increase focus, flexibility, mobility, and total body strength endurance. Class participants will learn and practice the 6 basic punches and several kicks from the Orthodox and Southpaw stances. Participants will also practice effective defense techniques, including block, slip, duck, and pivot.
