The Duck Dynasty family, Jep and Jessica Robertson, are starting a new television journey. The legendary couple returns to the screen with a new series, Jep & Jess: Beyond the Bayou, focused on faith, family, and purpose.

According to CBN, the couple says it’s a season of change in their lives as they extend their family and influence from Louisiana to Texas, and the television series reflects this.

Beyond the Bayou: The Robertsons’ New Television Series 

Jep and Jessica Robertson have made a huge decision as they start their new television series, Beyond the Bayou. The show premiered on August 13, 2026, on Great American Pure Flix and August 15, 2026, on Great American Family and GFAM+. The Robertson family entered a new chapter, and it started during the premiere when Jep’s longtime friend Lance brought a business proposition, partnering on a rare community in North Texas. He acquired thousands of acres to develop Comanche Moon, a collection of privately owned ranchettes complemented by shared gathering spaces that bring neighbors together.

The Mirador, also known as “The Texas Shire,” is at the center of the 2,400-acre property. The place is envisioned as a vacation destination featuring unique short-term rentals. It is designed as a place where people can step away from the busyness of life and focus on family, faith, and community. The series will detail how the couple manages it all.

Jep and Jessica Robertson are one of television’s most recognizable families. Viewers have watched them for many years. Now, they are partnering with Great American Media on a series shaped by prayer, community, and a desire to live intentionally.

When the couple was asked what message they hope viewers take from the show beyond the setting and storyline, Jep pointed to the family’s long-held mission.

“Really, we’re just very simple people,” he said. “It all started with our family, my grandparents, and just wanting to show what Christ is doing, and that Christ is King. My dad just happened to be a very interesting character who loved to hunt and fish, and he used that as a platform to show people God. What a cool way to do it.”

Jessica said viewers should anticipate the warmth and humor that made the family so familiar to audiences.

In her words, “We’re still family, and that expands to your community, who you serve, and who you do life with,” she said. “I think that’s what people still want to see. They’ll still get some Robertson humor. They’ll still get us gathering around, eating together, and living at a slower pace. I think that’s what people are really craving.”

The show also highlights the couple’s life with their five children — Lily, Merritt, River, Priscilla, and Gus, as well as their growing family of grandchildren.
