Thousands Baptized Across The United States In Historic Simultaneous Events

On Pentecost Sunday, more than 26,000 people were baptized in an initiative called Baptize America, in a simultaneous event across the 50 States, involving over 650 churches. According to CBN, thousands of believers made a public declaration of their faith in what the organizers called the largest synchronized baptism event in American history.

Over 26,000 Believers Baptized in Historic Event – ‘God Was There’

According to Crosswalk, the one-day event involved at least 26,657 people, with 6445 salvations recorded across 1,008 baptism event centres. The baptisms took place in a wide variety of locations, from small churches to outdoor settings, such as Pirate Cove Beach, a profoundly spiritual spot in Corona del Mar. Baptisms also took place indoors at Zeal Church, located in Citadel Mall, Colorado Springs.

Pastor Mark Francey, who previously helped conduct three mass baptism events, including Baptize SoCal (2023), Baptize California (2024), and another Baptize California event this year, also oversaw another Baptize California event this year. These gatherings saw thousands of believers baptized. The initiative is the brainchild of Oceans Church in California.

Francey said recently,  “This wasn’t just about a moment in the water; it was about launching people into a life with Jesus, surrounded by a community that can help them grow. We witnessed countless personal transformations and families baptized together; it was a movement of hope.“

One of the participants, Jorge Gonzalez, was baptized with his brother. He said, “God was pulling all my heartstrings. So, you know, I had to come out here and finally accept Jesus as my Savior. And today was the perfect opportunity.“

This event was more than a celebration; it was a move of God’s Spirit, birthing a new revival.
