Hello, Holy Spirit Devotional Week 25 – Hello, Vision

What did the early Christians know that made them so radically devoted to God? What truth gripped their hearts so deeply that they willingly faced persecution, hardship, and even death for the sake of the Gospel?
Everybody say: VISION.
Vision, in this context, is divine revelation—insight granted by the Holy Spirit that allows us to see beyond the natural. It is the ability to perceive people, circumstances, and even the future with supernatural clarity and understanding.
Too often, Christianity is presented as a promise of ease, as though accepting Jesus means the troubles of life will disappear. But even Jesus Himself warned:
“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” — Matthew 10:34-35
Why? Because following Christ requires a radical separation from the ways of the world. There is a cost to walking with God, a cross to bear, and a call to surrender completely.
But don’t be discouraged—God has already provided a Helper. The Holy Spirit is the Divine Guide, the revealer of hidden mysteries, and the One who unveils our purpose in due season. He gives vision—clarity about who we are, what we are called to do, and how to walk in alignment with God’s plan.
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end, it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” — Habakkuk 2:3
