Hello, Holy Spirit Devotional Week 24 – Hello, Patience

Recently, I have found myself praying for patience more than ever. I have realized that patience is key in handling anything entrusted to one’s care or doing what needs to be done.

At different points in time, we will be entrusted with different things, and we need patience to handle them and let things follow the course that they should, so the right results will be achieved.

Having the ability to wait on the leading of the Holy Spirit while all else seems to be moving is very key and may sometimes “test one’s patience” level. You may want things to happen right now, but it may be better if they happen later on. This does not mean your season is slow; it just means you have chosen to surrender to the Holy Spirit, and He is right there, leading you on a path that cannot be wrong.

Patience will not take from you; it will add to you. Trusting the Holy Spirit by imbibing patience means we are willing to wait and surrender to Him.

Remember, patience is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
