Dr. Jerry Savelle, a renowned teacher of the Word, author, and televangelist has passed on at the age of 77 years. Jerry Savelle Ministries International announced his passing on Monday, April 15, 2024. Jerry Savelle and his wife, Carolyn, both founded the Heritage of Faith Christian Center located in Crowley, Texas.
The popular pastor and author’s ministry announced his death on its social media channels and website, as reported by The Christian Post.
About Jerry Savelle

Dr. Jerry Savelle was renowned for being a teacher, preacher, author, and televangelist. He authored over seventy-five books. Some of his bestsellers include “Called to Battle, Destined to Win,” and “If Satan Can’t Steal Your Joy, He Can’t Keep Your Goods.”
Savelle had a widespread ministry, having preached in over 3,500 churches domiciled in over 40 nations. Jerry Savelle Ministries International has its overseas offices in Australia, South Africa, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Among other things, he hosted “Adventures in Faith,” a broadcast by his ministry that is seen in about 200 countries. Jerry Savelle also founded Chariots of Light, which is an evangelistic bikers outreach that has chapters in Canada, the United States, South Africa, and Australia.
Reactions to Savelle’s Passing
Being one of the most popular preachers and televangelists of his time, Jerry Savelle’s passing attracted reactions from all over the world. One of the first people to announce his transition was one of his closest friends and fellow preacher, Evangelist Jesse Duplantis. Duplantis announced Savelle’s passing on his social media platforms, referring to him as a “true general of the Lord.” He added that they were so close, and it was impossible to put a razor blade between them.
Daystar Television, a popular Christian TV network, paid homage to the deceased’s life and times via its social media channels. Dr. Jerry Savelle was survived by his wife, two daughters, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
