Hello, Holy Spirit Devotional Week 11 – Hello, Guide
The Holy Spirit is our Undisputable Guide. Have you ever found yourself muttering these words under your breath when faced with certain issues, decisions, or challenges, “Holy Spirit, please help me.” I do this often, and this is one of the most powerful prayers I pray because having the Holy Spirit as our Guide is like following a sure path, knowing fully well that you are on the right side, provided you heed your Guide’s instructions.
I have witnessed the Holy Spirit as my Guide on so many occasions, and it has shown me that I know nothing on my own, but with the help of the Holy Spirit guiding me through situations and circumstances, I am able to make the right decisions or actions in different situations.
It is one thing to know the Holy Spirit as one’s Guide, and it is another to listen to His leading or heed His instructions. Doing this shows that you truly acknowledge Him as your Guide. A Guide is holds your hands and shows you the way, but it is left to you to follow the instructions.
What’s more, we need to remember that the Holy Spirit can guide one in the big or seemingly small to the minutest issues of life. He cares for us.
