Other actors include Ali Suliman (King Saul), Ayelet Zurer (King Saul’s wife – Queen Ahinoam), and Indy Lewis (Mychal – Saul’s daughter and the woman David loves). Oded Fehr (Abner – King Saul’s trusted Lieutenant), and Louis Ferreira (Jesse – David’s father).

According to the representative of Movieguide, who was opportune for a set visit, “although the actors came from different faith backgrounds, they became good friends.” They commended Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn for their listening ears and for being attentive to their concerns about the show. The actors never felt the filmmakers were too busy for them, and the experience felt like family.

House of David premieres this Thursday, February 27, with three episodes exclusively on Prime Video. Five more episodes will be released weekly, and the season one finale will air on April 3. You can watch the series with a Prime membership.

Will The House Of David Be Entirely Biblical?

Recently, Jon Erwin, co-director and executive producer of House of David shared on X that the show is committed to telling the Biblical story of David with integrity, emphasizing that Amazon is placing creative control in the hands of believers, their voices being heard and the deep love and belief in the Bible.
